Saturdays in April

April is a good month for us to do a LAN Party! atleast on Saturdays! Saturday Nights work best for my schedule, How does the 19th work for everyone?

Do we even dare!!!

The date of March 29th has been suggested for another "get to gather". The reason i did not choose the term "L.A.N. party" is because it has also been suggested we leave our computers at home for this one and play board games such as "risk" and "settlers of quatan" ( i have no clue how it's spelled). Please leav your feed back on this. I would also like to say that i will be purchasing the game "Counter strike" soon and i was wondering if it would be the right time to expand our L.A.N. horizons a little as has been suggested by sgtstix. PLEASE let us know!!!! In other words, start leaving comments, im getting lonely!

The Grandfather of Role Playing

It was a sad day, March 4th, when news spread that the Grandfather of Role Playing games passed away. Gary Gygax, co-creator of Dungeons and Dragons, passed away while rolling a d20. It was a critical hit that sent him over the end.

My deepest sympathies go out to the Dungeons & Dragons families all over for the passing of a legend. Thank You Gary for all the years of FUN!!

Feb. L.A.N. Party!!!!!!!

The date for the next L.A.N. party is set for Feb. 23rd at 5:00pm. Depending on wether or not the conference room is free will determine our location. Check back next week to find out for sure. Most of us have already approved of the date. If you have any questions please feel free to contact spkrforthedead, or iwillcrushyou. I like the new poll! Although having goliaths and carriers at the same time is not possible unless you are protoss and have mind control. =þ Did you mean battle cruisers?

Suggeted date for next L.A.N. party...

It has been suggeted we plan another L.A.N. party for the 23rd of February. Please let us know if this date is workable. Either leave a comment on this blog, e-mail me, or just tell me when you see me. If you have another date in mind, please just let us know!

David beats 3 Goliaths (not the terran kind)

In a surprising upset Thursday night, spkrforthedead defeated 3 of the broods most skilled and feared generals in what can only be considered the biggest upset since the 1980 U.S. Olympic hockey team defeated the Soviets. Delta 31, Thumper-unit21, and iwillcrushyou could not be reached for comment. The winner had this to say: "I just kind a hid as long as possible till they all beat each other up real good...uhhh...yeah i think that's what happened?" There have been unconfirmed reports that the Luxembourg military is recruiting spkrforthedead to run its military strategy division. As the story broke a man who once knew a Friend of the conqueror had this to say: "What the hell is StarCraft?" Clearly the public is in shock, and counciling will be provided at the John Scherbarth institute for computer game addiction free of charge. Feel free to post your comment on this historic event!

O.K. people! There has been a change of venue for the L.A.N. party! The party has been moved to the conference room at Boondocks Fun Center. We will be setting up @ 6:00pm on Saturday. Feel free to bring snacks to share or drinks as well!! See you there!

UPDATE ON L.A.N. PARTY!!

After talking to a few of you it appears that John Scherbarths house will be the venue for our L.A.N. party on the 19th! Plan on being there around 7:00pm. If the time changes we will post it! If you plan on coming to John's House please also plan on bringing a snack to share or some drinks. If you need directions to Johns House, just leave a comment on this blog with you e-mail address or just ask John at work! I guess i should tell John it's at his house now?

Just another F%^&*# observer

So last night(Jan 6th) we played alittle on battlenet. I ended up on John's neice and nephews team, and it was pretty funny. While i was up in the right hand corner clicking my fastes...they were destroying the rest of you sorry chumps! lol...Anyway i really didn't need to be there, although i did find Johns other base at the end and sent my whole force of like 6 goliaths and 9 wraiths and a scince vessal to get him. So whats the deal with your relatives John? They had like 3 barracks 2 bunkers abd 24 marines by the time i built my first barracks! Thats fast!Oh wait...no...I'm just that slow! :)
